Terms & Conditions

Hotel Policy 

By staying in Savv Hotel (“the Hotel”), the Guest agree to comply with and be bound by all terms and conditions, house rules, regulations, disclaimers, waivers of liability, and policies as prescribed by the Hotel from time to time; all reasonable directions, orders and/or instructions imposed by Hotel; and all applicable local laws and the regulations of the country.

Use of Facilities

The Guests use the facilities, equipment and services in the Hotel like car park, swimming pool and so forth entirely at the Guest’s own risk. To the extent permitted by law, the Hotel shall not be liable for any personal injury or loss or damage to property caused to any person arising from or in connection with their use of the Hotel’s facilities, equipment and services. 

Check-In and Check Out Requirements

The Hotel is required by law to obtain proper proof of identity (e.g. passports or national identity cards) from all persons checking in. The Hotel has the absolute discretion to refuse check-in, cancel or modify any reservations if the identity does not match the booking reference or if anyone refuses to provide the requisite proof of identity to the Hotel.

Unless otherwise stated, Guests may check-in at anytime from 3.00 pm on the scheduled day of arrival. All secured bookings will be held until 11.59 pm on the scheduled day of arrival unless otherwise agreed with the Hotel. Any non-secured reservations will be held until 6.00 pm on the day of arrival after which the Hotel is entitled to forfeit all payments made and re-let the room unless the Guest has notified the hotel of a late arrival.

Guests are required to Check-out by 12:00 pm on the day of departure. Late check-out can be requested subject to availability and may be subject to additional charges at the discretion of the Hotel. Where no request for extension has been made, the Hotel reserves the right to charge, without further notice, an additional one (1) night’s charge.

Rooms are subject to maximum occupancy rules set by the Hotel. Additional occupancy and extra beds are subject to additional charges. For safety, security and housekeeping reasons, the Hotel reserves the right to enter a guest room at least once a day even if the “Do Not Disturb” sign is on.

Advance Deposit

At check-in Guest must provide a valid credit/debit card information (such as card type, card number, expiry date and the full name shown on the card) to be charged or cash as advance deposit of RM200.00 for miscellaneous charges.

If miscellaneous charges or incidentals exceeds the advance deposit, the Hotel will request for further authorization to top-up the deposit, failing which the Hotel reserves the right to restrict access to the room.

Room Amenities and Linens

Room amenities provided and found damaged and / or missing from rooms after Guest’s departure will be charged to Guest at the prices stated in the amenities price list.

Specialist cleaning charges of RM100 will be incurred for severely stained room linens.

No Smoking, No Durian

In compliance with the law, smoking is prohibited in the hotel rooms, corridors, staircases, lobby and pavilion areas except at the designated smoking areas (where applicable). Guest who do not comply will be charged a room-recovery fee of RM500 to restore guest rooms to a smoke-free and smell free condition.

Payments

By providing Guest credit/ debit card information, Guest represent and warrant that (i) Guest is legally authorized to use the credit/ debit card provided; (ii) Guest authorize the Hotel to charge in full for all charges incurred or charged to Guests account for all products and services purchased and any damage or loss caused during the Guests’ stay (including, without limitation, damage to the Hotel’s property). The Guest expressly and irrevocably authorize the Hotel to charge to the Guest’s credit/ debit card, or advance deposits which was used at the time of check-in, for all charges you and your guests may have incurred including any damage or loss caused by you or your guests to the Hotel during your stay. 

Guest is personally liable for the full payment of all charges which may include any applicable service charges duties, taxes, or tariffs. Guest is required to pay and settle all charges fully upon check-out. 

Valuables 

In-room safe deposit boxes are provided. Guests are advised to ensure that all items of value are always stored securely and not left unattended. The Hotel's liabilities for valuables is governed by Section 4, Innkeepers Act 1952.

Parking

Guests using the parking lot within the premises of the Hotel park at their own risk.

Lost or non-return of keycards

The Hotel will charge RM50 per keycard that is lost or not returned upon check-out.

Cancellation Policy

Cancellations and amendments made within 48 hours of arrival will attract a per room, per night charge based on the first (1st) nights rate. Other cancellation, early check-out and non-arrival terms apply, and information will be available at the time of making a reservation. If you made your reservation through a group, the group contract will outline specific cancellation policies. If you made your reservation through a third party website, cancellations must be made directly with the third party. The hotel is not authorised to cancel, and cannot provide refunds, for any third party reservations.

Guest’s non-compliance of any of the above will constitute a breach of the Terms and Conditions. In such an event, the Hotel reserves the right to take all necessary action, requiring Guests to leave the Hotel with no compensation and/or seeking compensation for loss suffered by the Hotel. Nothing contained in the Terms and Conditions shall constitute a waiver by te Hotel or shall compromise the Hotel’s rights to rely on and enforce all statutory limitations, defenses and powers available to it under local laws and regulations.
